It is with great sadness that we make this post today. We are at a loss for words at the terrible tragedy that took place last night. The Bedford Community and Monroe Road Elementary family lost a beloved student daughter sister and friend in Lainey Scroggs. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Scroggs family and we are here to offer our support in whatever way we can. Please use this link to donate if you can. Our final fun run reward happened today—students who raised $200 got to silly string the principals! It was so much fun, and we’re grateful for principals who are always willing to join in. Thank you, Mrs. Kline and Mrs. Macke! 😊

The last two days have been so much fun! The students had bounce house day on Monday and a glow dance party today for their fun run prizes! Also, the top earning students from the school, Avery and Ellie, were principals for the day! Thank you so much to all of our PTO volunteers that helped make these days a success! Also, thank you to our amazing DJ who volunteered his time and resources for both the fun run and the glow dance party! Thank you to Jyve Bounce for setting us up with the best bounce houses around! And a huge thank you to our specials teachers for all of your help and support! We couldn’t do this without you all!

This week the PTO handed out Fun Run rewards to our amazing students who helped make the FUN RUN fundraiser such a success!

⭐ Students who raised $25 earned a visit to the Snack Cart.
⭐ Students who raised $50 were entered into our Gift Card Raffle and the winners received their gift cards
⭐ Students who raised $100 got to Spin the Prize Wheel, where winners took home fun prizes like candy bouquets, Fugglers, slime, scented pencils, and Bedford bags!

Our top earning class and the top earners from each class enjoyed a special field trip to Purple Penguin and White Park.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our PTO volunteers who helped organize rewards, coordinate the field trip, and make the day run smoothly . We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to Purple Penguin for accommodating our group and helping make this experience so special for our students.

Next week we have the GLOW DANCE PARTY, BOUNCE HOUSE, and SILLY STRING the principal! Come on out to help if you can!
