The Lamar Alumni Association will present scholarships again this year.
To be eligible, the applicant must be one of the following:
1. Any LHS senior
2. Senior from any school if a parent is an
active LAA member(2 years or more).

All applicants must have a 2.5 GPA or higher. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Veronica Gainey-Peoples at [email protected] or 843-598-0083, or Ms. Nelson, School Counselor at LHS. All application materials must be received by the deadline, May 1, 2026 to be considered. Recipients will be presented at the LHS Class Night.

Last night, the Lamar Alumni Association awarded two scholarships to deserving recipients. For the first time ever, LAA awarded one LHS student and a child of an alumni member from another school. The recipients for 2025 are Montia Gregg(LHS) and London Durant(Spring Valley High School). Congratulations on all future endeavors. LHS Class Night is pictured below.
