What a great week at FFA Camp!

Grevyn and Bryan had an incredible experience making memories, building friendships, and growing as leaders.

They both earned their State FFA Leadership Pin! This is awarded to campers who fully participate in all of the leadership opportunities camp has to offer!

When I asked them what the best part of camp was, they both said meeting FFA members from across the state.

A surprise highlight of the week was the Opry show. They weren’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being something they really enjoyed!

Congratulations, Grevyn and Bryan, on representing our chapter so well and for making the most of every opportunity at FFA Camp!

Today our FFA chapter hosted Food For America!

Our members had the opportunity to teach Pre-K through 5th grade students about where their food comes from through fun, hands-on learning experiences. Students rotated through 11 stations including cattle, horses, ice cream, rabbits, sheep, pigs, goats, chickens, tractors, ATV safety, and ducks.

The ice cream station was a huge hit! A big thank you to Austin Potthast and Nate Wheeler for taking the time to come and make ice cream for the students!

It was a packed and exciting couple of days at the State FFA Convention!

Thursday:
Ruby participated in State FFA Choir rehearsal.
Maddix and Mattison served as delegates.
Lydia received the Missouri State Fair Scholarship.
Troy Onstott and Dillan Goodwin were recognized on stage as they received their proficiency plaques.

Friday:
Lydia, Waylon, Benaiah, and Henry competed in Farm Business Management, earning a 12th-place finish in the state and a Gold 1 rating.
Students had the opportunity to explore the career show and college fair.
We wrapped up the day by listening to Ruby perform with the choir and watching Henry walk across the stage to receive his State FFA Degree.

A great couple of days representing our chapter!
