Hey everyone! After speaking with another mom from the group, I was thinking I'd like to try out a new way of communicating with everybody about times and places where we'll be meeting each week. If you'd like to receive updates about getting together with the group, will you please send me a private message with your phone number so I can get you included in a group text? If you aren't comfortable sharing your phone number but would still like to receive updates about get-together information, that's okay! Please send a private message letting me know you'd still like to get this information via facebook and I can let you know the updates each week through messenger. Thanks so much for your patience as we try out some different ways of communicating with everyone and try to find a method that will best serve everybody! It was great to see everyone who was able to make it to the park the other day! Does anyone have any suggestions for some new places we could meet? Maybe a pumpkin patch with free admission, a walking trail, other parks, etc. Thanks!

Hi everyone! It was wonderful to see everybody who was able to make it to the park last week! I apologize for the late notice but we have an appointment tomorrow that was scheduled ages ago so we won't be able to meet at our regular time. We could either set something up for later tomorrow afternoon - say around 3:00 - or set up something for Wednesday afternoon around 12:30 or 1. Does anyone have a preference for which day you would prefer? Also, please share in the comments if you'd like to meet at the park again or if you have another idea for a place to meet?

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at 12:30 at the Lamar city park! Feel free to bring sack lunches again if you'd like to eat while you're there. Let's meet near the gazebo again by the playground equipment and then everyone can go play, walk the trails, etc. See you tomorrow!

It was great to see everyone who made it out to the park the other day! How would everyone feel about meeting up at the Lamar city park again this upcoming Tuesday at 12:30? Just a reminder that we will be meeting at the Lamar City Park tomorrow, Sept. 12, at 12:30! Feel free to bring a sack lunch if you'd like to eat at the park. Good afternoon! We are hoping to begin organizing a weekly get-together for homeschoolers from Lamar and the surrounding communities. Nothing too formal or academic - just an opportunity to build community and have some social time with others in the area. Does anyone have any ideas for good places to meet up that would work for a variety of ages? Please share your ideas and watch for upcoming posts regarding specifics on days/times to meet. Thanks!
