Lamar Day Care is looking for a patient, intelligent, motivated, and creative person to fill a teaching position. Position will be full-time for the right applicant. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background screening.

For 29 years, Miss Debbie has fed, fixed booboos, and nurtured the countless children that have graced our doors. We cannot thank you enough, Deb, for all that you have done as a staff member, teacher, cook, and friend. Enjoy your retirement! We will miss you! 🖤

Due to the cold temperatures and wind chills, the City of Lamar has opened Memorial Hall as a warming center. Memorial Hall will be open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm until the temperatures improve.

This is not intended to facilitate permanent options, but a place for those seeking temporary relief from the harsh weather conditions.
