Allied Health professionals work in a variety of settings such as hospitals, public health facilities, health clinics, long-term care facilities, rehabilitative care facilities, and more. Graduates of LCC’s Allied Health programs gain all of the skills necessary to succeed in the fast-paced medical workforce.

Anyone interested in the healthcare field, but not sure if it's the right fit for them? Our Nurse Aide program at Lamar Community College is a perfect option to get a taste of what it's like being in the healthcare field! Lamar Community College offers a one semester Nurse Aide certificate program that prepares students to take the state exam to become a Certified Nurse Aide.
