The gang's all here! 🎉 This morning, our kindergarteners and their families gathered in the courtyard for one of LCA's most meaningful traditions: the Kindergarten Clap-In. After a brief prayer service (and an impromptu dance party in Scarpitti Square!), our newest Saints proudly marched into their first day of kindergarten, led by their teachers and cheered on by the eighth grade class. Welcome, kindergarten Saints. We can't wait to see how you'll change the world! ❤️

It's the day every LCA 5th grade Saint waits for—the House Sorting Ceremony! To cap off an exciting first day back on campus, middle school students gathered in the gym for the sorting of 5th grade and transfer students into their Houses. Cheers could be heard throughout the building as students were called by name to the stage, tapped the magic key, and learned the House they'll be a part of. The big question now remains...which House will be crowned the 2026-27 Champions next May? 🤔

This morning, our Saints and their families gathered in the front courtyard to begin the 2026-27 school year with prayer and community. Students marched through the doors to the sound of "When the Saints Go Marching In," marking the beginning a school year filled with new opportunities and so much to discover. A joyful milestone for LCA! 🌿 This morning, on the Feast of St. Augustine, we gathered to dedicate and bless our renewed backyard and Grotto for Mary, celebrating the completion of the Where Joy Takes Root campaign. For the first time in more than a year, the backyard is officially open again for our Saints to play! Fr. Cam blessed the space and guests enjoyed food, drinks, and fellowship. We're grateful to everyone who helped make this transformation possible, especially our donors and LCA Alumni Parent, Adam Green, and Green Thumb Landscaping for bringing our vision to life.

Yesterday's Back to School Bash was the perfect way to kick off the new school year! Students and their families stopped by to drop off school supplies, meet teachers, get their desks and workspaces ready, and reconnect with friends before the first day of school. Cool treats from the Kona Ice truck made the afternoon even sweeter! We loved seeing so many Saints back on campus and can't wait for all the magic that the new school year has in store. LCA is off to the races! 🏇 Yesterday, we officially welcomed our faculty and staff back to campus for the start of the 2026-27 school year with a Kentucky Derby-themed Staff Convocation! From Derby-inspired food and horse races to a costume contest, plenty of laughs, and important updates for the year ahead, it was a fun-filled way to reconnect and kick off another great year together. During the next two weeks, teachers will be hard at work preparing for their students' arrival on September 1. Here's to another year of innovative, joyful, and exciting Catholic elementary education on the shores of Lake Erie!

Once a Saint, Always a Saint! 🎉 We had a blast welcoming young Alumni from the Classes of 2020-2026 back to campus last night for a casual mixer in the front courtyard complete with food, games, memories and lots of laughs. We enjoyed seeing them and learning about all the great things they’re up to in high school and college. ❤️
