Next week, March 9–13, is Staff Appreciation Week! To help us celebrate, students are encouraged to color a sheet and write a compliment for their teacher or a staff member on the wipe-off board near the front office. It’s a fun and meaningful way to spread some gratitude!

Next week is Principal Appreciation Week! Please help us celebrate Mrs. Crispin and Mrs. Cook all week by participating in the list of events below. We can't wait to show our principals how much we appreciate all their hard work!

Monday October 20th- Have your child write a card or note of thanks, draw a picture, or share a special memory with Mrs. Crispin and/ or Mrs. Cook- please drop off to the front office.

Tuesday October 21st- Wear purple- Mrs. Crispin's favorite color!

Wednesday October 22nd- Wear Green- Mrs. Cook's favorite color! Come early to drop off as well so your child can write a message in chalk on the sidewalk around the school.

We hope to see everyone at the PTA meeting tomorrow, Friday, December 13 (spooky!), from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. in Temp 7 or via Zoom.

Tomorrow's meeting agenda has been emailed out. We will approve the November meeting minutes, so please glance at them before the meeting.

Greetings, DEC PTA Members,

The "SNOW DAY! SNOW DAY!" chants from the kids yesterday were so sweet. We hope you all are enjoying a cozy day with the kiddos!

Our PTA meetings fall into the category of activities cancelled by the district due to the weather. We have rescheduled the meeting for next Friday, November 15, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. in Temp 7 or via Zoom (the Zoom link is included on the meeting agenda). As a reminder, we will approve the October meeting minutes, so if you haven't already, be sure to take a peek.

Thank you to those who joined us in person or on Zoom for the October meeting on Friday. We are grateful for the gift of your time during this chaotic time of year! The meeting minutes can be accessed via your email. We will continue to enhance the Zoom experience and are grateful for your continued patience.

The next DEC PTA Meeting will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. in Temp 7 and on Zoom. If there is anything you hope to see on the November meeting agenda, or if you are a program/event chair with information to share, please let us know. We look forward to seeing many of you there! Meals for Teachers during Conferences
Our teachers will have a long week during Parent-Teacher Conferences! The DEC PTA is facilitating dinner for them on Tuesday, October 15th and Wednesday, October 16th.

We need YOU! Here is how you can help keep our teachers fed and happy:

Please volunteer to bring a part of a meal on the Sign Up Genius.
Donate to help purchase items for the meal that are not fulfilled on the sign-up.
