Addenbrooke will be a place where a collaborative community develops curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment to ensure all students learn through a rigorous Music Program, Core-Knowledge and Classical curriculum and instructional models integrated by becoming an iSchool Campus to create a SMART school. In design and delivery, the school will be an integrated model of tradition and inn

ovation. Addenbrooke Classical Academy encompasses a school in which the administration, faculty, staff, and parents will:

*Provide a complete educational institution based on proven methods of instruction and challenging content;
*Have high academic and moral expectations for all students; and Cultivate relationships between parents and teachers to ensure the complete development of the student, including academics, music, and character;
*Prepare students for life after high school using time tested methods of teaching focusing on knowledge and music, but preparing for them for the 21st century using innovative technology as learning tools.
*Addenbrooke will provide its students with thorough and applicable knowledge of the core curriculum, in part, by associating academic instruction with the analogous concepts of music, regardless of student musical aptitude or experience, and by creating a learning environment facilitating the highest standards of academic achievement for its students. As students gain a broader understanding of the construction of music, its history, and its various styles, Addenbrooke Classical Academy will instill in its students a life-long love of music, appreciation for beauty, and respect for humanity. This school will also enlist the involvement of its parents and community in programs to improve the educational opportunities and outcomes for its students.

Freshman Orientation is your chance to get the lay of the land, meet some people, figure out where you’re going, and get a little more comfortable before the halls fill up with everyone else.

📚 PSA for Future Bookworms (and Book-Buying Parents):
It's only July... which means Amazon is still your friend. 😄

Fast-forward six weeks, and suddenly everyone in the country is ordering school supplies, backpacks, and the exact same novels.
Save yourself the "Why won't it arrive until September?!" panic and grab your high school student's required literature books now.

⭐One important note: The editions we've linked are intentional—they're the same editions our literature teachers use in the classroom. Having everyone reading from the same edition makes it much easier for students to follow along during class discussions, annotations, and shared reading because we'll all be on the same page (literally 😉).

Your future self (and your students' Literature teacher 😉) will thank you.

Today, the Class of 2026 took their final walk through the K–8 halls alongside the Class of 2039 — celebrating not only the end of one journey, but the beginning of another.

Over this school year, our seniors built meaningful friendships with the kindergarteners through Senior/Kinder events that helped unite our entire campus community.

Today’s walk was a beautiful reminder of how quickly time passes and how important it is to lead, encourage, and leave a legacy for those coming behind you.

One class steps forward into the world while another takes its very first steps into the future. 🎓
