I am going to be unable to tend the garden for 2 weeks in early July so I'm asking for help! I would need a handful of people to just check in on the garden between the 6th and the 20th, not necessarily work just stop by, have a wander, possibly harvest a few things if they are ready. There have been a few random things happening within the garden and even though I have been going 3+ times a week I haven't been able to spot or prevent the issues directly. I just want to keep the garden safe while I can't be there!
If your interested in popping in let me know here, send me an email [email protected] or

Make sure you know what is a spreader before you put it in the ground. Mint, lemon balm, St. Johns Wart...they spread and become invasive!

Beware the creeping creepers. So many of my favorite witchy herbs are very prolific and can become invasive. St Johns Wort is definitely in this category. It is actually considered an invasive w**d in much of Colorado so if you plant it be very careful to not let it get out of hand. Big pots are a great solution.
St Johns is a brilliant herb that I feel we all need in our lives. It can have severe drug interactions so be very careful using it medicinally (do your homework). But even its essence can be extremely uplifting. Its flowers are little drops of condensed sunshine. Just ask the honey bees that will, inevitably, be covering the plants as soon as they bloom.

St John's is a drought tolerant perennial. It in my yard its about 2' round and 30" tall.
