PTA presented Mrs. Yepez with two special items as she’s wrapping up her time at our school. The garden stone will remind students, staff and families of the impact she had on all of us and the legacy she leaves at MacArthur. The framed picture is for her to take so she’ll always remember her Eagles. Mrs. Yepez has been an amazing PTA partner for the last six years and we’ll miss her tremendously.

If your child is interested in participating in Reflections 2024-2025, summer break is a perfect time to brainstorm a project to submit! Submissions will be due early in the school year.

🌟We are proud to announce our 45th annual Summer Food Service Program! Starting 📅June 17 through August 23, we'll provide FREE, nutritious meals to children and youth ages 1-18 over the summer months. 🍎🥪

🕰️ Meals will be offered Monday through Friday, times varying at each site between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.(excluding holidays on Wednesday, June 19 and Thursday, July 4).

Swing by any of our 25 locations across Long Beach and Signal Hill to grab a well-balanced, nutritious meal. Meals include cold components such as milk, juice, fruits, and vegetables.

Please Join us for our last Storytime of the school year, Thursday, June 6th at 5:30pm in the School Garden.

We earned $600 from School Cents fundraiser this school year! Funds raised support various programs & events. Thank you to everyone who submitted receipts, donated electronics, etc to help make this fundraiser successful.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a member involvement card! Congrats to our winners. It takes volunteers to make PTA successful and there are lots of ways to be involved throughout the school year, even if you work outside of the home. We look forward to celebrating all of our volunteers on June 7.

PTA treated our MacArthur Teachers & Staff to a Taco Tuesday lunch by (Rick Robles). Thank you for dessert donations by MacArthur parent, Samantha Feigerle, from Cheesecake Factory!!

Kicking off Teacher Appreciation Week with an açaí bowl bar by , owned by a MacArthur family. Lots of special things planned this week to appreciate our SUPER teachers.

In about 2 weeks, Mrs. Yepez will have an important meeting updating us on the new program next year at 6pm. Then at 7pm, we will have our last PTA Association meeting.
