School year hours: 6:30am-9am & 2:45-6pm (School days only)
Summer hours: 6:30am-2:30pm
Responsibilities
Must be willing to undergo background checks in accordance with state licensing and have knowledge of Step up to Quality
Must be available during program hours: 6:30-9am and 2:45-6:00PM Monday-Friday (school days only) and during the summer from 6:30am-2:30pm
Preference given to candidates with experience working in a structured childcare or educational setting
responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
developing appropriate curriculum, and maintaining site records, programs, etc. to ensure state licensure compliance.
Work productively and consistently with school administration, families and students
Assure the health and safety of students by following health and safety practices and regulations
Monitor, observe and report student behavior according to approved policies and procedures
Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, problem solving and decision making skills
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Assist with teaching and educate students according to the approved curriculum and homework help
Strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-through
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Maintain order and procedures during all activities
Maintain a professional attitude at all times
Ability to meet assigned deadlines
Perform other duties as assigned
Comfortable working and walking outside during the summer months.
Comfortable taking students on field trips via walking or RTA bus.
