Squash the grape!
Start your downswing by pretending there is a grape under your lead foot and you want to squash it by throwing your weight back onto your lead heel.
This motion is signal to start your shoulder rotation.
Proper timing will require practice, but it will begin the downswing sequencing in the proper order.
