Today, EMS students at Pierce College had the opportunity to see a Life Flight helicopter up close during a training exercise on the Fort Steilacoom campus.

The training gave students a better understanding of how emergency medical teams work together to provide critical care and transportation in emergency situations. Pierce College Emergency Management approach helps prepare future EMTs and paramedics through hands-on learning experiences like this.
