🥋 Celebrating Growth, Effort & Achievement! 🎉

What a wonderful way to celebrate the hard work and progress of our students!

Our Belt Ceremony is more than receiving a new belt. Each new color represents the discipline, perseverance, confidence, and effort our students have shown throughout their journey.

Seeing the smiles on our students’ faces—and the proud families celebrating with them—reminds us why these moments are so special. ❤️

Congratulations to all of our students on your well-earned promotions! We are proud of how far you’ve come, and we’re excited to see where your Taekwondo journey takes you next.

A special thank you to all of our WCMA families for your continued encouragement, trust, and support. We are grateful to share these milestones with you.

𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐚 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦—𝐖𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲! ❤️

Yesterday, our Demo Team gathered for another Saturday practice as we prepare for our performance at Lakewood SummerFEST on August 15.

Every Saturday, our wonderful parents have voluntarily brought lunch and snacks for the team. After working hard together, seeing our students sit down, share a meal, laugh, and enjoy one another’s company is a beautiful reminder that something much greater than a performance is being built here.

We would like to express a very special thank-you to Michelle Nealon, Mikaela Mason, and Robin Kang for your generosity, time, and continued support. The food gives our students energy, but the love and encouragement behind it give them something even more meaningful—the feeling that they are supported by an entire community. We truly appreciate you! ❤️

This week, we also received an especially heartwarming surprise from Lily, our youngest Demo Team member. At only six years old, she made bracelets and shared one with every member of the team.

It may have seemed like a small gift, but it carried a very big message: “You belong to this team, and I care about you.”

We are so proud of Lily’s kind and thoughtful heart. Seeing students of different ages train together, support one another, and form genuine friendships is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Taekwondo is about much more than learning kicks, forms, or performance skills. It teaches our students to work together, care for others, develop confidence, and become part of something meaningful. We believe these lessons and relationships will remain with them long after they leave the training floor.

To all of our Demo Team parents, thank you for standing behind our students and helping us build such a caring martial arts family. Because of you, our team is growing stronger not only in skill, but also in friendship, character, and unity.

We are incredibly proud of our Demo Team, and we cannot wait to share the results of their hard work with our Lakewood community!
