You’ve probably heard tomatoes are a fruit, but did you know tomatoes have been to space? Tomato seeds were sent to the International Space Station then sent back and planted across Canada in a project called Tomatosphere which studied the effects of space on seed propagation. Maybe instead of pico de gallo, we should call it pico de Galileo!
