Dear Oak families, friends, and fellow educators—
It’s been quiet here for good reason.

After serving as a gentle, grounded haven for children and their families, the time came for Oak to close its doors.

This was not an easy ending. And yet—it was a true one. A cycle completed.

What Oak created went beyond its walls. It was a living blueprint of what’s possible when nervous systems are honored, relationship is centered, and both children and caregivers are held as whole beings.

Love Children? Please use our simple, easy to use children's advocacy cheat sheet we created for you.

An 80 billion cut to Medicate budget proposal is trying to be pushed through. This affects ALL families with young children, not just those who receive Medicaid funding.

We are already in a childcare desert. And there is an algorithm used by our representatives offices where a phone call counts as 10 voices from the community, an email 5 voices, and showing up counts as 100 voices. They will listen because they work for us, their constituents!

So we are asking you take a moment to download our cheat sheet and call YOUR representative (daily, if you can) and just say the simple script given.

"I'm a resident of [Your Town] and I'm concerned about potential cuts to Early Childhood Education funding in the proposed budget cuts to Medicaid and elsewhere. Maintaining current funding is vital to provide quality childcare options for working parents, which in turn supports our local economy. I urge you to protect ECE funding in Colorado across the board. Thank you"

It's a numbers game, and we are all needed at this time to show up for all children!

Hello community! We're seeking a PT or FT temporary teacher position to cover for an unexpected medical leave. Needed hours of coverage are 8am-2pm (but we can accomodate FT hours too if needed), pay range is $20-24 depending on experience and PDIS credentialing. What a beautiful solstice concert! Over 120 friends and family showed up in support of our wonderful children. Beyond grateful for our beautiful community.

The Oak School is looking for an afternoon coordinator! Assist teachers in transitioning kids from their school day to after care; play outside, make art, and clean up at the end of the day.
