Mustangs, our community showed up in a BIG way!

Raise Craze was all about kindness, and our Lakeway community certainly understood the assignment.

A huge THANK YOU to the local businesses and community donors who contributed fantastic prizes, treats, and incentives throughout Lakeway Elementary’s Raise Craze Fall Fundraiser. Your generosity kept our Mustangs motivated, gave our staff some fun surprises, and helped make our Raise Craze: Kindness in Orbit mission a little more exciting for everyone.

You gave our students plenty of reasons to celebrate, but more importantly, you showed them what it looks like when a community gives back. We are grateful for every donation, every contribution, and every business that chose to support our school.

Please show some love to the generous businesses that showed up for our Mustangs!

Lakeway Elementary set an ambitious goal of $85,000, and our Mustangs crossed the finish line with $85,304 raised! Talk about a photo finish!

It came down to the wire, but our Mustang community showed up when it counted. Thank you to every family, donor, teacher, and supporter who helped make this year’s Kindness in Orbit fundraiser a success. Every dollar helps support our students, teachers, and school community, and every act of kindness helped get us here.

And we’re not done yet! Corporate matching donations are still trickling in, and Spirit Blanket sales are continuing, so expect that grand total to keep climbing!

Way to go, Mustangs! You reached the goal, went beyond it, and showed what happens when a community comes together. One heart. One herd. One incredible finish!

🚨WE’RE SOOOO CLOSE, MUSTANGS! 🚨

We’re sitting at JUST UNDER $75,000, and we need about $10,000 MORE to make TWO things happen:

💛 Ms. Ozuna gets MINION’ED!
💙 Principal Nelson gets GRU’D!

And we have ONE. DAY. AND. A. HALF. LEFT!

Our Raise Craze fundraising window CLOSES TOMORROW NIGHT AT MIDNIGHT. We are SO close to making both transformations happen, Mustangs. But close only counts if we cross that finish line!

THIS IS THE FINAL COUNTDOWN. Have you shared your link with everyone who might help? Have you posted it, texted it, or sent it to the people who love supporting our Mustangs? Now is the time to make that last ask, share one more time, and help us close the gap.

Every donation brings us closer to our goal and supports our students, teachers, and school.

$10K TO GO. TWO TRANSFORMATIONS. ONE FINAL PUSH.

Help us get Ms. Ozuna MINION’ED and Principal Nelson GRU’D before the clock strikes midnight tomorrow!

Mustangs, we are officially getting nervous.

Raise Craze ends Sunday, and we’re sitting just under $69,000. Our goal is $85,000 - and, yes, that math is making us a little twitchy.

That $85K goal matters. Reaching it helps us continue funding the programs, supporting our teachers, and hosting the parties that make LWE such a special place for our students and teachers — including the Pumpkin Party and other events coming up this year.

So, this is the part where we ask you to get a little annoying.

Call. Text. Email. Send a carrier pigeon. Smoke signal. Reach out to grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, friends, coworkers, former neighbors, that person you went to college with 17 years ago who still follows you on Facebook… everyone.

And we have some unfinished business to take care of:

At $70K: Coach Rod eats Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Cereal. He is hungry. Please help.

At $80K: Ms. Oz gets Minioned.

At $85K: Principal Nelson gets Gru’d - eyebrows, long awkward nose, and all. And from what we hear, now that the sprinkles are all outta his ears, he is ready.

We’re less than $1,000 from $70K, but we still need to get all the way to $85K.

Raise Craze ends Sunday.

Let’s get Coach Rod his cereal, Ms. Oz her Minion makeover, Principal Nelson his Gru face - and, most importantly, get to $85K so we can keep supporting our students, teachers and all the good stuff happening at LWE.

Giddy Up, Mustangs!

Mustangs, we are almost at 70K!! Let’s get those last minute donations in! Also, our donation station is still open!!
