This is the best way to get a spot without a regular weekly commitment.

I send an update every Friday with any availability for the following week.

It helps me ensure that students who need help can still get on the schedule when a seat opens up.

Hey everyone!

I have some last-minute availability for math tutoring this Wednesday (March 25) if anyone needs a hand with homework or test prep.

I have these 3 spots open:

• 5:00 pm
• 7:00 pm
• 8:00 pm
(55 min sessions)

I tutor 5th grade through Pre-Cal math out of my home office in Lakeway Proper.

My schedule is usually pretty full, so I wanted to toss these out here since I have some extra flexibility this week!

I’ve been holding math midterm group reviews all week and I have two more sessions. These group sessions max out at 4 students.

1 opening for geometry preAP tonight from 8:30-9:25pm (there would be 4 students do it would be $30 each if someone else signs up)

2 openings for 8th grade Alg I (this is middle school 8th honors). (If 1 more signs up, cost is $40 each student. If 2 sign up, price drops to $30 each student) This session is scheduled for tonight at 7:30pm-8:25pm.

Group session sliding scale pricing is dependent upon how many show up.

Great video on how to memorize the unit circle…the key is understanding it as a pizza pie you are slicing up rather than memorizing it blindly. This is how my college professor taught it.

I am working with several students to help them learn their multiplication facts.

We are having fun by playing lots of hands on games. The less digital, the better.

The kids will be using pyramid solitaire, Qwixx, Left Right Center with Jumbo dice, Bingo.

I’m working to get a complete set of games to draw on and make things a little more fun.

So many kids are being taught skip counting. They really need to memorize these facts.

If your child doesn’t master their multiplication facts in 3rd grade, let’s make a plan to fix that this summer. It will be such a good investment in their education and may save you money later.
