The Foundations of Business students participated in the annual MNCAPS “Shark Tank” competition this week, and the 2026 winners have officially been named 🦈

* 86 students
* 39 projects
* 40+ community volunteers who provided feedback and judged throughout the process
* 6 top-notch finalist groups
* 1 memorable morning on stage!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible. Awesome job to ALL of the student groups who worked countless hours over the past semester, and congratulations to our 2026 champions… PULSE PADDLE 🏆

Healthcare Year 1 concluded another Legacy Project year. Students spent every other Tuesday building relationships, sharing stories, and honoring the legacy of each resident from three different collaborative facilities: Fen Point in Savage, Fountains in Lakeville, and our 10th year at McKenna Crossing in Prior Lake.

This quickly becomes one of the students favorite activities. Many memories and even some happy tears shared today❤️

Guest instructors provide insight into a variety of healthcare professions and insight into the commitment it takes to be a future healthcare professional. The Trades Pathway held their annual Spring showcase for their mentors, parents, friends, and teachers. Visitors were able to see learning from various units throughout the year that included financial management, mentorships, public speaking, framing, siding, roofing, windows, flooring, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and more.

Over 100 people were impressed by the expertise these students displayed. We are so proud. We are MNCAPS Trades!

The Healthcare Pathway visited Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington to learn about opportunities in alternative healthcare including Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, and other services. In the afternoon Year 1 and Year 2 helped pack up 157 boxes/90,000 meals through Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen in service of those in need around the world 🌎

The 2006 MNCAPS Trades Signing Day was a celebration of 16 seniors who committed to a future in the skilled trades. Each student is following his or her own unique path- some attending technical schools, the military, unions, the workforce, or their family businesses.

We couldn’t be more proud of the work they’ve done to explore their options and decide on their own road to success! Congrats to all!

The Healthcare Year 1 Pathway concluded their month and a half long Global Healthcare Project including a research paper and presentation. Student groups presented their research on a country and the effects of the social determinants of health for its people.

We continue to be grateful for our industry volunteers and alum who support students in their project-based learning❤️
