Our fundraiser/drive results are in. We ended up with….. 98 bags!! That’s more than double our goal! That means when children are removed from their home and brought to the police station (through no fault of their own) to wait for an adult or cps, the Lakeville Public Safety Foundation helps to greet 98 children with goody bags!
We cannot thank you parents and donors enough for your contributions! It’s a privilege to be a part of this community🩵 From fundraisers to food drives, you always show up and out! Now onto the next… our holiday food drive starts next week😉

🎁 Lakeville Police Department Foundation Fundraiser! 🎁

This is our drop-off box… but these adorable babies won’t be in it for long- because we want to FILL it with toys! 💛

This season, we’re partnering with the Lakeville Police Department Foundation to help create Comfort Bags for children who experience unexpected interactions with police - often through no fault of their own.
When a child is brought to the Lakeville Police Station to wait for a trusted adult or CPS, officers offer them a Comfort Bag- something small but filled with warmth and care to make a difficult moment a little easier.
This year, Hypointe’s goal is to create 40 Comfort Bags for local children in need.

We’re collecting new or gently used (cleaned) items that can easily fit inside a drawstring-style bag:

Comfort Items:
Small blankets or stuffed animals
Coloring books and activity books
Stress balls, squishy fidgets, or pop-it keychains
Sticker sheets
Mini play-dough or modeling clay
Plastic animal figurines or dinosaurs
Mini books or board books
Mini dolls or action figures
Small hand games, puzzles, or fidgets

Personal Care & Thoughtful Touches:
Hairbrushes, combs, or hair ties
Lip balm
Toothbrush and toothpaste (travel size)
Tissues or wipes (small packs)
Handwritten encouragement cards (“You are brave,” “You are loved”)
Sanitizer

📅 Donation Dates: November 17–21
📍Drop-Off Location: Box inside the vestibule
