Extremely sad news to share. Our friend and classmate, Brian Strese, lost his battle to Glioblastoma Brain Cancer on May 27th surrounded by family and friends. This guy was a FIGHTER!

Brian’s Celebration of Life will be at Hosannah in Lakeville, this Thursday, June 5th.

*Please enter the west side of the building, door 5*

Visitation will begin at 10:00am. The service will be at 11am and there will be a meal after the service.

One of our own is in a tough spot and needs our help. Right now, her most urgent need is a trust and/or tax expert—someone who can work pro bono to help her navigate setting up a trust and untangling a complex tax situation.

From Craig Shiller, Jay's brother:

I am very sad to announce that my brother Jay T. Schiller passed away on March 30th due to complications from an aortic tear. Arriving at the UofM hospital early Tuesday morning, Jay battled through 5 surgeries in 5 days. Unfortunately, his body did not respond as we all hoped it would. Jay’s family and close friends were present as he passed away at 6:15pm Saturday evening. He was 49 years old.

Jay Thomas Schiller, age 49, passed away March 30th, 2024 due to complications from an aortic tear. Jay was born on his Mothers birthday 5/25/74. He was fine sharing his birthday, but demanded his own cake. Jay was a music lover. He played drums for Lakeville Senior High marching band.
