Congratulations to my students Megan, Annika, and Ellie for making LNHS’s top acapella group Now and Then! You are joining a great group including some of my other students: Olivia, Annabelle, Jack and Beau.

So great to have in person lessons and online lessons as an option too! While I much prefer seeing my students in person for lessons, I love having the option of online lessons in cases of scheduling conflicts and inclement weather!

5 students performed in 2 master classes at the MN Music Teachers Association convention this past week. Classical students got to work with the fabulous U of MN Professor Jean del Santo and musical theater students got to work with the fantastic Jerry Elsbernd. All students did an awesome job and learned more new things to continue developing their voices and acting. Great job Jack, Annabelle, Michaela, Megan and Adam!

All voice lessons this fall will continue to be via Zoom due to COVID spreading through aerosols. Scheduling now with current students. Will open up to new students if I have space once school starts.

I am SO proud of my students at solo and ensemble today! Ten events: Nine superior (1st) ratings, one excellent (2nd) rating, and two of my students’ solos were marked “best in site”. That means of all the judged events in that site by that judge (usually around 30 or so events), my student’s solo was rated the best performer/score.

YEAH! You are all so awesome!!!
