Crystal, I honestly don’t know where I would be without you and Cuddle Bugs. ❤️
Thank you for taking a chance on me all those years ago and for helping me realize that being a SAHM was not actually the plan for me. What started as a job in a field I never expected to be in turned into something I truly love, and a career I never could have imagined for myself.
I also have to thank you for opening a center so my kids could finally get off your multiple-year waitlist! Little did I know that getting my kids into Cuddle Bugs would eventually lead me to finding my own place within the Cuddle Bugs family.
You have been an incredible leader, mentor, and someone I constantly look up to. You took me under your wing, gave me opportunities to learn, trusted me with experiences that have shaped who I am professionally, and have helped me grow into the person and leader I am today.
I am so grateful that you have always allowed me to flourish in the role I’m in while also knowing exactly when to keep me in line. 😂 I truly couldn’t ask for a better mentor, or someone who believes in me the way you do.
Most of all, thank you for being the kind of leader who makes people want to grow, do better, and make a difference.

It’s crazy to think that what started as a little program in your basement has grown into what it is today. You have put so much heart, time, and love into building this company, and it truly shows.
You are such a caring and wonderful boss with the biggest heart! Your passion for what you do and for the program you’ve built is so obvious, and you genuinely care about your staff, the kids, and the families here.
You also make working here so much fun! There are so many laughs, memories, and good times that come with the craziness of daycare life, and I’m so thankful to be a part of it!

So thankful for Crystal and the place she has created, one where our voices and suggestions are heard, where family and work-life balance matter, and where hard work, new ideas, and growth are always valued.
We have grown and changed so much over the years. We’ve learned better ways of doing things, gained new skills, overcome challenges, and made so many memories along the way. Being able to come to a place where work often doesn’t even feel like work is something I’ll always be grateful for.
I’m especially appreciative of all the times you’ve listened to us, defended us, motivated us, believed in our ideas, and taught us something new. It’s so fun to look back and laugh about the things we may have gotten wrong, all of the “remember when…” moments, and just how different everything looked when Cuddle Bugs was on a much smaller scale.
And now, to see us opening a brand-new Rosemount location and realize I’ve had the privilege of being along for the journey since the very first week of the very first center is pretty incredible. What a journey it has been!

Crystal has created so much more than a fun place to work and grow—she has created a family. What started in her home has grown into a thriving childcare center and an incredible team of people who have become part of the Cuddle Bugs family.
There have definitely been some hiccups along the way, and we have learned A LOT together, but we have also grown through those challenges and continued to build something truly special. Crystal’s vision never stops growing, and somehow, each new chapter brings bigger and better things. R2 is definitely on its way!
I also feel truly lucky that Crystal gave me the opportunity to grow within Cuddle Bugs. She took a chance on me and allowed me to work my way from an Infant Lead Teacher to an Assistant Director, and that opportunity has meant so much to me. She has believed in me, challenged me, and given me the space to discover what I am capable of.
Crystal is one of the most driven women I know. When she has a vision, she is full speed ahead—there is absolutely no slow-mo when it comes to her! Her passion, determination, and willingness to keep dreaming bigger are a huge part of what makes Cuddle Bugs what it is today. I’m incredibly grateful to be along for the ride and to have had the opportunity to grow alongside her and this amazing company.

Crystal is such a dedicated, creative, and passionate leader who truly wears so many hats and somehow manages to make it all look effortless! From leading Cuddle Bugs and supporting her team to planning her awesome Bunco parties, she always brings her own energy and creativity to everything she does. Her passion for R2 and all the ideas she has for making it an amazing new center are so exciting to see, and it’s clear how much she cares about creating something special for our children, families, and staff.
