We had a great school year! I am so proud of how hard all the boys and girls worked and all the growth they showed. I hope that everyone has a wonderful summer. Don't forget to have your child read with you everyday. Also if you haven't checked out the summer library program be sure to! They have lots of fun things going on this summer.
I have really enjoyed my time here at Lakeview, it is a wonderful school and community. Just in case your child hasn't already told you, I will not be back next year. I am taking some time off from teaching to be home with my two young children. I hope to be back in the future.
Thank you for letting me be part of your child's life I truly loved having each and everyone of them as a student and will miss seeing all of their smiling faces in the fall! :)

Don't forget that tomorrow afternoon we have field day. 1st grade's color is red, so please send them in a red shirt. You may also want to apply sunscreen in the AM. 😀

Mrs. McKaig came and reinforced recess behavior/expectations with a huge game of memory! They loved it!
