MIS would like to recognize our GRIT Staff Member for the months of April/May…Mrs. Anita Brubaker! Her peers who nominated her had the following to say:
“Anita consistently goes above and beyond for our students, showing genuine care and compassion in everything she does. I often have students come to my room in the mornings looking for her because, as they say, ‘she gives the best hugs.’ That simple statement speaks volumes about the comfort and trust she provides.
Anita has a remarkable ability to recognize when a student needs a listening ear or a comforting word, and she always makes time to offer both. She truly loves our students and invests in them as whole individuals, contributing not only to their academic growth, but also to their health, well-being, and sense of belonging. Her kindness, intuition, and dedication make a lasting impact on the lives of the students she serves.”
We couldn’t agree more with this assessment of Mrs. Brubaker! Her heart for kids (and her colleagues) is always apparent and she’s a huge part of what makes MIS great! Thanks for being you, Mrs. Brubaker! We are fortunate to have you at MIS.
