I have always believed the power of high teachers as part of the solutions to our gradually failing education systems. Government and stakeholders will not be sure of their policies but teachers never refuse to implement and work around. As we kick start the double-track system for our secondary schools, let me take advantage to encourage all of them to focus on the learners and not the system and believe that they can give them their due in the three months of contact time.
However, I also want to encourage government that we should not forget the the FCUBE is still paramount and deserves equal attention and investment.
