Jean Angus was a valuable part of Lakeside Presbyterian Children’s Center and the Christian Help Center. The Children’s Center opened in 1953 with Jean as a teacher and shortly after became the Director. Even after her “retirement” she was very active with the Help Center and the Children’s Center. She served on the Preschool Committee and would come to our programs and open houses. She was a wealth of information and cared deeply for the Children’s Center. As a way to honor her every November we hold a food drive for the Christian Help Center. During the month of November please drop off a nonperishable food item that we will donate to the help center, in Jeans name.
