Don't get stuck on left hand technique. There is certainly a place for it. But without the interplay of the right, there is no music. Concentrate on the two working in harmony. The more you practice right hand technique the better.

This is a guitar I just finished repairing the chord jack and rubbed each fret with 0000 steel wool, then rubbed down the fret board with %100 Lemon Oil. Restrung it and lowered the action. I played it for about an hour to stretch strings a bit before final tuning and return to the customer.

I teach music theory so you can apply it to any instrument. Guitar specific or Mandolin specific lessons. Flexible on lesson format. I can teach you music theory, how to read standard notation or tablature, or if you prefer I can teach you common chord patterns so you can start jamming from day one.

If you have an instrument that is in disrepair-we also repair cracked soundboards or body's. Bridges that have come unglued or just a restringing or conditioning your fret board with lemon oil.

I am $25 an hour. That is much less than market value but not doing it for the money. I am doing it because I love to teach and I love to play the guitar.
