Last night’s Board of Education meeting was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate excellence and service!

We proudly recognized our incredible track athletes for their outstanding accomplishments this season. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to representing Danbury with pride make us all proud to be Lakers.

We also had the honor of recognizing Board President Tim Mackey for 14 years of dedicated service and stewardship on behalf of Danbury Local Schools. Thank you, Tim, for your leadership, commitment, and unwavering support of our students, staff, and community. The recognition was presented by the Ohio School Boards Association in appreciation of his years of service.

Congratulations to our student-athletes and thank you, Mr. Mackey, for your lasting impact on Danbury Schools! 💙⚓️

OSU’s Sea Grant Extension Program Leader visited our Environmental Science students today to teach about Lake Erie’s complex food web. The great lesson included a fish dissection and a lesson on how to fillet a walleye; just in time for fishing season on the lake!
