Greetings families and friends!

Tomorrow, Monday, August 11, 2025, is our first day back at school. We pray that you will have a great day and new school year if you have young children starting or returning to school.

We hope you will reach out to us for a tour of our school if you need quality care, while you work.

We continue to offer so many things to our community since Incorporated in April 1992.

To our families and their children,

*We care for and teach children ages 6 weeks-12 years of age.
*We open our doors at 7 a.m. and close at 5:30 p.m.
*We serve breakfast, lunch, and snack daily, free of charge.
*We accept certificates through The Early Learning Coalition of Polk County for assistance with tuition cost.
*They also assist us with the development and learning of young children to prepare them for their formal years of education.
*We offer a “FREE” 3 hour a day VPK program (8:30-11:30) in (preparation for Kindergarten)by credentialed staff
*We offer wrap care for parents who would like their children to attend VPK but stay with us throughout the day.
*We transport to Code Academy, Crystal Lake Elementary and Oscar J Pope in the mornings.
*We are now offering afternoon pick up at Boswell Elementary School and continue to pick up children from Code Academy, Crystal Lake, Elementary School, and Oscar J Pope, Elementary School.

If you have experience working in early childhood or working in a licensed childcare facility and are interested in joining our team, please reach out to us.

We offer a scholarships to staff through Polk State College for those that qualify. This is an opportunity to obtain a college degree from an AS Degree all the way up to a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and or Elementary Education “FREE” of charge.

All full time employees receive a 50% discount on childcare when they work with us and if their children attend our school.

Greetings Families from all of us at Kids Town Preschool and School Age Center!

About us…..

We Offer a Learning Environment in a Family Atmosphere!

We have been preparing our young children to be model citizens with a love for learning and growing since April 1, 1992.

Currently….

Summer has almost come and gone.

This has been a very fast paced time of fun activities, field trips, and visits from Community Helpers into our preschool and Summer Camp for our older children.

We definitely have had blessings of success this summer.

We maxed out our numbers of enrollments, made some great improvements to our facility, hired on new staff and had 2 staff return that worked with us in the past.

Currently, we are enrolling new children age 6 weeks - age 12.

Our VPK class is almost completely full. Call today if you have a 4 year old who turned 4 before September 1, 2025 to see if we have availability in that classroom. enrollment is limited for your children to attend the maximum number of hours required during the school year.

In VPK, we help you prepare your 4 year old for their formal years of education.
They will learn self-help skills and social skills. They will learn letter, number and shape recognition. They will learn through use of rules and limits, discipline and appropriate interactions with children in group settings.

VPK is absolutely free of charge for 3 hours a day 8:30-11:30. We offer lunch between 11:30 and 12:00 as an added bonus to our VPK parents.

At the end of the VPK program we will have a wonderful VPK graduation where your children will be able to show you what they have learned throughout the year. This is a simple celebration of importance to their growth and learning throughout the year. We all look forward to this event.

Space is limited. Most of our children begin with us at a very early age and stay with us until they age out of our program.

We offer summer camp and select holidays for school-age children to keep them busy and active.

We accept certificates from the Early Learning Coalition Of Polk County, where they assist parents with tuition cost, if they qualify. You can reach them at 863-577-2750.

We also offer Food Program assistance that includes a healthy breakfast, lunch and snack daily, free of charge.

We are monitored through the Florida Department of Children and Families.
All of our staff must pass a level 2 Background Screening and maintain certain levels of training before they can work in our school.

All 4 year olds receive vision and hearing screenings.

All of our children with the help of a ASQ screening will help us determine if a child may need special help in different areas of growth and development. These screenings also offer us as well as our parents guidance to work with their children at school and at home.

We look forward to an exciting year working with our children and their families.
