This honor is made possible by a generous gift from esteemed alumna Ebbie Sue Pou Doherty '81, dedicated to the legacy of Maida Badcock Pou, a Florida Southern Trustee Emerita whose service and philanthropy left a lasting impact on the College.

As the Nursing Simulation Lab Manager and Instructor in the Ann Blanton Edwards School of Nursing and Health Sciences, Behrens cultivates a dynamic learning environment where students develop essential nursing skills in clinical experiences. A proud Florida Southern College graduate, Behrens earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014 and a Master of Science in Nursing Education in 2017.

Dr. Laly Joseph Named Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences - Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL After an exhaustive national search, Florida Southern College has named Dr. Laly Joseph, DVM, DNP, CNE, RN-C, MSN, APRN, ANP-BC, FNAP, as the next Dean of the Ann Blanton Edwards School of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Congratulations to our Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Spring 2023 Alumni. All have passed (100%) their certification board exams on the first attempt. Bravo!!

Dr. Nancy Marc and nursing students took at fabulous junior journey trip over spring break to London. They were able to visit the Florence Nightingale Museum, and explored nursing in the UK.
