SEU School of Honors

Dear Honors Family,

I am saddened to share the loss of Dr. Gordon Miller. He went home to be with Jesus peacefully this afternoon.

On behalf of the School of Honors, we grieve the loss of the beloved founder of the School of Honors and we celebrate his countless years of dedicated service to Southeastern University. We honor his life and his legacy. We will share information about funeral services as soon as it becomes available.

Hey guys! My name is Hilario Gomez. I’m now a DPT (Doctorate of Physical Therapy) who recently graduated from Belmont University this past August!

I currently work in a sports setting treating all levels of athletes from professional baseball players to ultra-marathon runners. While working, I am currently working on getting board certified in sports.

I am so grateful for the SEU School of Honors. The friends I made through Honors are now lifelong friendships I will hold forever. SEU School of Honors has been vital in my journey to becoming a physical therapist. They encouraged me to dream bigger than I can imagine and to dig into those dreams with a mighty force. Now that I am in my career, SEU’s work is still not finished. I have utilized my research skills I have obtained at SEU to continue to analyze, critically think, and swift out information to best help my patients.
