Congratulations to all the high school graduates of the Class of 2026! We loved welcoming our alumni back on campus last week for their Senior Walk. Our school has grown and changed so much in the past 4 years that it is hard to recognize, just like some of these students! We would like to give special recognition to two former Eagles: Katie Esterline and Layla Nofallah, Valedictorian and Salutatorian at Santa Fe Catholic High School. So many exciting events have taken place on our campus recently. Here’s a few highlights:
🕯️NJHS & NJAHS Inductions.
We proudly inducted 6 new NJHS students and 12 new NJAHS students into these honor societies. These Middle School students are great examples of our Mission Values of Knowledge and Service.
🔬A group of 2nd- 5th grade students represented RCS at the Florida Elementary Science Olympiad. These 14 students prepared for months to take on challenges in a variety of scientific areas including geology, meteorology, biology, and physics. This was our first time participating in this event and we received the “Data Detectives” award for demonstrating outstanding critical thinking.
🎟️ Eagle Fest
It’s been many years since we’ve had a school event focused solely on gathering as a community and everyone was SO excited to participate! Thank you to our many incredible volunteers, including those from SFC, Knights of Columbus, and RCCW, as well as our steering committee who went above and beyond to make this a memorable event for all.
🎨 Art Show
A featured event at the Eagle Fest was our Artome Art Show featuring framed artwork from all 500+ of our students. Artists of all ages were excited to share their work on display with their families and friends.

Our 8th Grade students had a wild time on their final RCS field trip! Thank you to our parent chaperones, as well as Mrs. Ginn, Mrs. Parks, & Father Angel, for helping everyone to make memories at Busch Gardens that will last a lifetime.

Florida Children’s Museum visited VPK this week for a mobile field trip! Students had so much fun with these hands-on learning opportunities all about construction. Students built, dug, used screwdrivers and built a tower out of magnets.

Our students had the opportunity to spend time this week in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Thank you Deacon Jim for leading us in this beautiful opportunity to spend time growing closer to Jesus.

Our students have been working hard all year to develop their art skills and now is their time to shine. You can find unique artwork for each of our students on display at Eagle Fest on Friday. To purchase your child’s framed artwork and support our Artome fundraiser, look for the link that was emailed on April 19 to purchase online or with your credit card at the show itself at Eagle Fest on April 24!

Happy Earth Day! Kindergarten students made Earth prints in Art. Join us in praying that we may all become better stewards of Creation.

Eagle Fest is fast approaching! Join us for Carnival Games, Bounce Houses, lots of family fun! Students were excited to show off their Class Shirts and the excitement is building. Raffle Tickets for the baskets will be sold after all Masses this weekend. To purchase event wristbands or to find more information, please contact the school office. He is Risen Indeed!
As the Resurrection Catholic School community, we spend our entire year living in the hope of the Risen Christ! This season is a special reminder of God’s great love for us. We are grateful for our 8th grade students who led our liturgy today! We also celebrated our March Mission Makers and Fruit of the Spirit winners for the gift of Goodness. How are you reminding yourself of Jesus’ real presence as we continue to celebrate Easter?

As we celebrate Holy Thursday, our 8th grade students took the opportunity to lead the rest of our school community in Living Stations of the Cross. Thank you Mrs. Monteverde for preparing our students for this beautiful time to walk with our Lord.
