We were honored to attend the wedding of our former student, Jackie Patton over the weekend! It has been a big month for the family, with Alexandria graduating from UF, Olivia graduating from high school, and now Jackie getting married! We loved working with each of these standout students through their college processes, and couldn't be happier to watch all their success! Congratulations to proud parents Heather McArthur and Adam Patton for all the celebrations this season!

The 2nd Annual "Baum and Knowles College Advising Alumni Celebration" is scheduled for Saturday, November 23 when the Mocs host Palm Beach Atlantic.

Last, but certainly not least, our final graduate from the class of 2024 is Genevieve Gardes! We've known Genevieve her entire life, as her mom and Ms. Knowles were roommates at Agnes Scott College! An impressive student who researched mRNA at the Georgia Governor's Honors Program during high school, Genevieve is now attending the University of Georgia Morehead Honors College, and was named a CURO Honors Scholar, which will allow her to continue her research at the collegiate level. Please join us in congratulating Genevieve on her impressive accomplishments, and wishing her success in the next steps of her journey!

College fairs are a great way to learn about a lot of different schools all at once, while making important contacts with admissions officers and getting questions answered. For our local Polk County students, this year's college fair is coming up next week on Tuesday, August 27! For our students throughout the southeast, be looking for similar announcements in your area!

Please join us in congratulating 2024 graduate Luke Ghaly! Luke graduated from Lakeland Christian School, and is attending the University of South Florida, where he was accepted into the Genshaft Honors College! He plans on pursuing the 7 year BS-MD program, and following in his father's footsteps. We have worked with Luke's family for many years, beginning with his older sister, and are thrilled to share their excitement at Luke's many accomplishments. Congratulations and best wishes Luke!

Congratulations to our next graduate in the class of 2024, Theo Gillespie! Theo graduated from Decatur High School's IB program (GA) in May, and will be attending the University of Glasgow this fall! Theo spent his junior year abroad in Germany, and looks forward to being back across the Atlantic, immersing himself in different cultures while studying engineering. We can't wait to hear all about his adventures. Please join us in congratulating Theo!

Please join us in congratulating MaKinlei Gunter, who will be attending The University of Mississippi - Ole Miss this year! MaKinlei was a super busy student in high school, from competitive and school cheerleading, to showing livestock, to working at Publix, and much more! We know she is going to take Ole Miss by storm, and can't wait to hear all about her success in the future! Congratulations MaKinlei!

Congratulations to our next graduate, TJ Weeks! TJ recently graduated from Brookwood High School, near Atlanta, and will be heading to Mercer University in a few short weeks! We have been working with TJ and his family for many years, and will miss our monthly (and sometimes more frequent) Zoom meetings, but can't wait to hear all about his successes at Mercer. Congratulations TJ!

Our next graduating senior is Ashley Wilson! Ashley will be attending The University of Alabama in the fall, where she plans on being involved with the equestrian program and studying pre-law. Please join us in sending congratulations and best wishes to Ashley!
