TONIGHT there will be special Ivory Coast Mask performance with traditional songs from the Ivory Coast of Africa including the rare and magical Zaouli masked dance!
The vibrant and colorful Zaouli mask comes from the G**o people of the Ivory Coast in West Africa. The mask represents feminine beauty and grace. The Zaouli mask comes out for celebrations, bringing blessings and prosperity to the village where it is shown. Join us for this interactive show, ending in a procession of the entire community to our sacred fire. DAY PASSES AVAILABLE TO ATTEND.

Hey Newbies!
If this is your first festival and you aren't sure what to wear, what to bring, or what to eat, here are some tips!
Clothing:
Wear what makes you feel comfortable! Come as you are and be your beautiful authentic self!
At Festival, you will see every kind of attire from Jeans and t-shirts, long flowy skirts, beach sarongs and jingly belly-dance costumes, or even cloaks, Renaissance garb and fairy wings!
-Bring closed toed shoes for setting up if you are tent camping, nobody wants to drop a mallet on their toe!
-Shower shoes/flip-flops are always a good decision
-Don't forget your sunglasses or a hat for the Florida Sunlight!
Packing!
For Tent campers:
-Tent and other camping supplies
-Tarp
-Something to sleep on such as an Air mattress, bed roll, or sleeping bag
-Something to cook on, such as a camp stove, or fire bowl (above ground fire bowls only, in ground fires are not allowed)
-Something to sit on such as a folding chair, camp chair, or beach chair
-Table for cooking, eating at, or gathering
-An awning or Easy up canopy tent (optional)
For all:
- A chair (optional, but recommended! Workshop spaces have limited seating available)
-Notebook and writing utensil for workshop note taking (Optional)
-Bug repellent and Sunscreen
-Food and Drinks (and necessary utensils, plates, cups, and cookware)
-Cooler for Ice, Food and Drinks
Eating at Festival:
At this time Phoenix Festivals does not have a food vendor or food plan, you must bring your own.
-Consider items that do not need refrigeration if you are tent camping or in a non-air conditioned cabin
-My favorites include: Nut butter and jelly sandwiches, shelf stable meat or meat substitutes, pasta and jar/canned sauces, chips, crackers, and fruits such as apples, oranges and other citrus, and bananas!
-If you are cooking, there are some great camping recipes available on Pinterest and Tiktok if you need inspiration!
-Cooking tips- 1. Precook pastas and rice and store in a zip top bag or storage container in your cooler. 2. Buy pre-cooked refrigerated items such as precooked lunch meat/meat substitutes, Cheese and crackers, hot dogs/veggie dogs or burgers. 3. Don't forget condiments!
