Seven years ago, Excel Christian Academy established six core values for its culture of education: honor, generosity, excellence, growth, diversity and creativity. Today, Excel Academy is a thriving K-12th grade student body and is gaining national recognition as a model school for achieving its mission of “Pursuing Excellence with Honor.”

At ECA, we put forth our very best effort in presenting a

well rounded education to our students, not only in the classroom but on the playing field, through leadership courses, chapel, extracurricular activities and social interaction. What. A. Day. 🙌🔥
Our seniors headed to Ties That Bind in Titusville for a day packed with challenges, teamwork, laughter, encouragement, and some serious LEADERSHIP! 💪
They climbed. They problem-solved. They trusted. They encouraged. They stepped outside their comfort zones. And most importantly—they learned that great leadership starts with confidence in yourself AND confidence in your team. 🤝
And can we brag on them for a minute?! 👏👏👏
The staff at Ties That Bind told us how impressed they were with our group—and we couldn’t agree more! 💙
Senior year is about more than finishing strong. It’s about LEADING strong. We can’t wait to watch this group bring these lessons back to campus and use what they learned to encourage, influence, and model leadership for our underclassmen.

🏛️💙💛 HOUSE SORT WEEK = COMPLETE! 💛💙🏛️

What a way to wrap up an incredible week! 🎉 Today, our K4–2nd grade Spartans took their turn for our Day 3 FINAL HOUSE SORT, officially bringing House Sort Week to a close!

The smiles, cheers, excitement, and HOUSE SPIRIT were everywhere! 📣🙌

One of the best parts of today was watching our high school students step up as leaders, helping welcome our youngest Spartans into their new Houses! ❤️ Seeing our older students cheering them on, celebrating with them, and making sure they immediately felt like they belonged is exactly what our House System is all about—leadership, connection, and community across every grade level.

At Excel, our House System is about so much more than friendly competition. Each House represents one of our Core Values, giving our students opportunities to learn what those values mean, see them in action, and live them out while building relationships and unity across our Spartan Family.

From our littlest Spartans to our oldest students, this week has been filled with connection, celebration, leadership, and belonging. What a GREAT week! 💙💛

Today, we are especially grateful for Pastor Scott Thomas, our Board Chair, and the time he invested in our team during yesterday’s staff training! 💙

Pastor Scott challenged and encouraged us to be intentional about keeping our culture clear and uncompromising. A positive culture isn’t a luxury—it’s something we build, model, celebrate, and protect every single day.

A few powerful reminders we’re carrying forward:

FIRST DAY ENERGY = UNMATCHED! 🏆🎉💙
What an incredible way to kick off a brand-new school year at Excel Christian Academy! From the moment our students stepped on campus, the building was filled with laughter, excitement, connection, and learning. Classrooms were buzzing as students jumped right into engaging lessons filled with both JOY and CHALLENGE —exactly the kind of energy we love to see! 📚✨
And, of course, we couldn’t start the year without taking care of some very important HOUSE BUSINESS! 👀🔥
Last year, DAIKANOS — The House of Generosity 💚 brought the heart, hustle, and HOUSE SPIRIT to earn the title of HOUSE CHAMPIONS! 🏆
That meant Coach Dylan, representing 🧡OIKOS — The House of Diversity, had one very important first-day responsibility…
😬😂 Relinquishing the coveted HOUSE CHAMPIONSHIP BELT to DAIKANOS! 🏆
The belt has officially changed hands, the bragging rights are REAL, and the competition for this year has already begun!
