⭐️💙 It is with both gratitude and excitement that we share that Dr. Lamb has accepted a position at Florida Southern College, where she will serve as the Director of the Master’s in Educational Leadership Program and Professional Education Program Manager.

Dr. Lamb has been an incredible asset to Churchwell Elementary over the past two years. Her leadership, dedication, and commitment to our students, staff, and families have made a lasting impact on our school community. While we will miss her dearly, we are so proud of her and excited for this new opportunity.

Please join us in thanking Dr. Lamb for all she has done for Churchwell Elementary and in wishing her continued success as she begins this exciting new chapter. We know she will do amazing things and positively impact countless future educators.

What a fantastic Field Day! ☀️🎉

Our students had an amazing time enjoying games, activities, laughter, and making memories with their classmates. It was a day full of smiles, teamwork, and school spirit!

A very special THANK YOU to Coach K for all of the hard work, planning, and organization that made this event such a success for our students. Your dedication helped create a fun-filled day our STARS will remember for years to come! ⭐💙

We are so grateful for everyone who helped make Field Day such a wonderful experience!

Beginning Tuesday, May 26, no backpacks will be allowed at all PCPS school sites for the remainder of the current school year.

This applies to all PCPS school sites beginning Tuesday, May 26, through Thursday, May 28 — the last day of school.

Students may carry bags no larger than a small purse. Lunchboxes will still be permitted.

This is simply a precautionary measure. It is not uncommon for schools to implement such a security change during the final days of the school year, when it is no longer necessary for students to carry backpacks or large purses.

If you feel that your child needs accommodations regarding this change, please contact your school’s administration.

Today we celebrated our amazing 5th grade students at their award ceremonies and banquet! 🎉 We are so proud of all of their hard work, growth, and accomplishments this year. These students have truly shined and are ready for the exciting journey ahead as middle schoolers. ⭐️

A special congratulations goes to Brianna for receiving the prestigious 4-year Fancelli Scholarship to Polk State College! What an incredible achievement, and we know she has a bright future ahead. 🎓
