‼️ GJHS Hog Barn Applications ‼️

GJHS Hog Barn Applications will be available starting on 8/5 during upperclassmen orientation from Mr. Wheeler, they will also be available the first week of school.

They will be due to Mr. Wheeler by the end of the school day on Friday 8/14. The applicants chosen will be notified by 8/18 and a MANDATORY parent meeting will be held on 8/25 at 6:30 in Mr. Wheeler’s classroom!

We enjoy attending the Ag ed institute each year, gives our students a chance to see if AG Ed is the direction for their career path.

Who will inspire the next generation of agricultural leaders? As schools across the country face a shortage of agriculture teachers, the University of Florida’s Ag Ed Institute is mentoring students, introducing them to career opportunities and helping them picture themselves leading classrooms of their own.

Where: GJHS Hog Barn
Who: any student who wants to show a market hog this year
What: Clean barn and prep for this school year
