State testing is this week for our 3rd–5th graders! We are so proud of how hard our students have been working all year, and we’re ready to see them shine! 🌟

• May 5 – FAST ELA (3rd–5th)
• May 7 – FAST Math (3rd–5th)
• May 12 – Statewide Science (5th grade only)

Last night was a BIG night for our Kathleen Elementary ITV crew at the Polk County ITV Video Awards… and WOW, did they shine! 🌟

Our students submitted videos in 8 categories… and were FINALISTS in ALL 8! 🤯👏 Even more exciting they brought home 6 awards!

Please note the upcoming FAST PM3 testing dates for grades K–2. Make‑ups are scheduled for students who are absent. Thank you for helping ensure a smooth testing window!

Students will be dismissed 2½ hours early at 12:15 PM.
Please plan accordingly!

We are so proud of our incredible ESOL students who showed amazing growth on their end-of-year Imagine Learning assessment! 🎉

These students increased one and even TWO levels; a huge accomplishment that reflects their hard work, perseverance, and dedication to learning a new language. 👏📚

Through daily practice with Imagine Learning, they continue to build their language skills and confidence, and it truly shows!

A big thank you to Ms. Salazar, our teachers and families for supporting our students every step of the way. 💙
