Our Mock Trial team is currently at Nationals and preparing to head into Rounds 3 and 4! We are incredibly proud of the dedication, professionalism, and hard work they’ve shown throughout this competition. Watching our students compete on a national stage and represent RISE so well has been such an exciting experience. ⚖️👏

🎬 We’re excited to share that Sophie Drost placed 3rd out of over 330 students statewide at the Student Showcase of Films for her film “Water’s Memory.” An incredible accomplishment and well-deserved recognition for her creativity and hard work.
We are so proud of her, and thankful for our video production teacher, Jordan Burks, for the way he supports and invests in his students.

⚖️ Today we are sending off our Mock Trial team as they head to Nationals, and we couldn’t be more proud of all they’ve accomplished.

We’re proud to recognize our state winning Mock Trial team as they prepare to compete at Nationals next week in Des Moines, Iowa. Their hard work, dedication, and teamwork have earned them this incredible opportunity to represent LCS on the national stage.

🎬✨ Shout out to Sophie Drost!
Sophie has been named a finalist in the Short Film category at the South Florida Student Showcase of Films! Out of 650+ students across the state, she is in the top 3 for her film “Water’s Memory.”
She will attend the awards ceremony on Friday, May 1 in Jupiter, Florida, and we couldn’t be more proud of this incredible accomplishment.

What an incredible RISE Expo!
It was such a special time of community as everyone came together to experience and celebrate all the amazing things happening within the RISE program. From entrepreneurship and film to robotics, mock trial, and music, our students truly showcased the hard work and creativity they’ve been building all year long.
We’re so proud of each and every student who made this event unforgettable.
