🐔🥚 A little visit to our feathered friends!

Our 3 year olds got to visit the chickens, say hello, and collect some fresh eggs! 🤍

Through this simple hands-on experience, they practiced observation, gentle handling, responsibility, curiosity, and learning about where our food comes from. 🌱

Learning happens everywhere, even at the chicken coop! 🐣✨

Our VPK friends finished their “God Made Me” mirrors and celebrated something very special—themselves! 🌱 Each child shared something they love about who God created them to be.
A sweet reminder that every little one is wonderfully and uniquely made. 🥹✨

Little hands hard at work! ✂️🖍️🪞

Yesterday we did the last day of august activity.

Our VPK friends cut, glued, colored, and decorated their very own “God Made Me” mirrors! 🌱

Through this activity, they practiced ✨ fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, following directions, creativity, and self-expression—all while learning that God made each of them wonderfully unique. 💚

🐾 A very special visitor came to Pathway! 🐾

In honor of National Dog Day, Cali the service dog came to visit our students! 🐶🤍 The children had the opportunity to learn about what makes service dogs so special and why their work is so important.

Learning about service dogs helps children understand kindness, respect, empathy, and boundaries, including why we should always ask before approaching or petting a working service dog. It was such a sweet way to learn more about the important role animals can have in helping others. 🐶

🍋 The ultimate lemon taste test! 😆

For last week’s Lemonade Day, our VPK and Micro School students squeezed their own lemons… and of course, they had to give the fresh lemon juice a try! 🍋😋

Taste-testing is fun, but it also encourages sensory exploration, curiosity, communication, and trying new experiences. 💛

Some loved it… and some faces said it all! 😂🍋

🍋 Squeezing up some fun for Lemonade Day! 🍋
At the end of last week, we celebrated Lemonade Day! Our VPK and Micro School students got hands-on as they squeezed fresh lemons and explored how lemon juice is made. 💛

Through this simple activity, our students worked on: 🍋 Fine motor skills 💪 Hand strength & coordination 👀 Hand-eye coordination 🧠 Cause & effect ✨ Sensory exploration 🤝 Taking turns & following directions
Learning is even sweeter when we get to experience it hands-on! 🍋💛

Lemonade day was a success!😋
This was our Micro School Students Connor and Carson helping set up and attend the Lemonade Stand for part of their project. Thank you to all of you who bought and enjoyed our lemonade. All funds made will go towards maintenance.

And remember life gave us lemons but my Jesus He be making lemonade🍋💛
