It was great to see the Spirit of Lakeland in the Zenith Aircraft booth last week! The aircraft has sold and will be flying to its new home in the near future. I wish the new owner many years of happy flying ahead, and we hope to see it down the road. Thank you to everyone who has supported this project. It crushed me to see this program get killed, but its educational value was incredible to those who helped build it!
If this airplane project didn’t happen, several students most likely didn’t sign up to be A&P mechanics or aerospace engineers. I’m proud to say that APEX Aerospace has picked up where this project finished! Many more aircraft builds will happen, and we are just getting started!
If you or someone you think might be interested in looking to add an aircraft build to your high school aerospace program, please email [email protected] for more information.

It was a great week in Williston, North Dakota building airplanes in the classroom!
A huge thank you to Michael Anthony from KUMV-TV for stopping by to see what students can achieve when they have the proper tools to learn. He came for just a couple photos and learned about a much bigger story after spending time with the students. They even taught him how and convinced him to pull his own rivets!

Special thanks to Governor Kelly Armstrong for taking time to learn about youth aircraft building in the high school environment! He even pulled a rivet on the Zenith Aircraft Cruzer going together at the Williston Basin Career & Technical Education Center

We are often asked about the un-panel installation in the CH750 airframes. Our first aircraft was the first Cruzer to feature the un-panel, and we also housed the G3X into the mount. We loved this set up, as the visibility was incredible!
