We are sad to announce the deactivation of our chapter. Thank you to the National Board, our faculty advisor, and our alumni for creating memories at Florida Southern College. Our chapter was established 52 years ago, and those years highlight a unique group of people who represented music and our fraternity with grace, poise, heart, and drive. Thank you for being on this journey with us.

My dear chapter,
The news of Paula Parsché's passing has been difficult to process, and I'm sure that this may be a shared sentiment. She was an incredible presence in our department, both kind and challenging to her students and provided the best of her educational abilities to everyone, regardless of their profiency. In the midst of many sobering occurrences this Summer, my heart stands with you and my alma mater the most.
Hopefully, you were aware that she was a member of the founding class for Alpha Phi in 1971. When the role of Province President was gifted to me in 2016, this sweet gem came with it: an edition of The Wheel welcoming our chapter to our international fraternity.
If you can, sing our sweet prayer in honor of our D.O. sister, and please remember how each and every one of us shapes the world into a better place, just as Dr. Parsché did.
