Communities In Schools of Peninsula CISP is a local, independent chapter of the Communities In Schools national network, the nation's largest dropout prevention organization.

CISP operates within the Peninsula School District and growing into the South Kitsap School District. CISP provides mentoring, academic support, prevention programs for at risk behaviors, dental treatment, parenting training, and special events.

Join Communities In Schools of Peninsula for Volunteer Orientation & Training on September 15 from 5-7 PM at the PSD ESC Office (14015 62nd Ave NW, Gig Harbor).
Whether you're new to mentoring or returning for another year, we'd love to have you join us. Bring a friend and discover how just one hour each week can help a student feel supported, encouraged, and connected.

Our Site Coordinators are getting ready for another great school year!
A big thank you to a generous donor for sponsoring ice cream treats during Tides 101 at Gig Harbor High School, and to B&K Sweets for serving up the goodness. B&K Sweets is a teacher-owned ice cream truck serving Gig Harbor, and we're so grateful they helped make the day extra special.
