It’s amazing to me that women who’ve had lymph node removal due to breast cancer surgery are still not educated about their “at risk” potential for lymphedema. Unfortunately, the medical system waits for visible signs such as swelling or infection, yet it could so easily be prevented if a woman can recognize early signs. If you know someone who’s had bc surgery, recommend they have a lymphatic treatment by a certified therapist and encourage them to learn more about their changed body!
