Awakening to the oneness of creation starts with awakening to our own oneness. C.G. Jung took this path in 1913 when, having lost his way at midlife, he went into the underworld to confront the unconscious. He called out to his forgotten soul and began his journey toward wholeness, his journey of individuation. Reading excerpts from The Red Book, we will follow Jung in his imagined encounters as he practices active imagination to find his way with the help of his soul.

We will enter the imaginal world and practice our own active imaginations “There is only one way and that is your way.” We will read also excerpts from Etty Hillesum and Thomas Merton to see how they found their way within themselves. In so doing, we will awaken not only to our own oneness, but to the oneness of the world around us. We will take our place in creation.
