Jesse speaks truth and always inspires me to do more and be better! If you don’t follow him, you should. 🙌
Waze is great for directions.
But it has no idea how to get you to happiness.
Because happiness isn’t on any map.
And the moment you start trying to “arrive” there you’ve already missed the exit.
So how do you find happiness?
I don’t have your answer.
But here’s what works for me:
- My wife’s laugh
- My kids seeing something awesome for the first time
- A song that brings back a memory
- Finishing something hard I trained for
- Helping someone… being honest… doing good
That’s the real stuff.
But we forget to look for it because we’re too busy trying to navigate to happiness like it’s a destination.
If you want my advice?
Turn off Waze.
Put your phone on airplane mode.
Take someone you love on a drive to nowhere.
Stop for a smoothie bowl.
Root for a team you hate.
Ask an old person what made them happy.
Rip up your to-do list.
Watch Super Dave on YouTube.
And most importantly:
Choose to be happy.
Not when you hit your goals or buy a house.
Choose it today. For no reason.
Final thought:
Happiness isn’t something you find.
It’s something you PRACTICE.
The more you choose it… the easier it becomes.
Now go turn off Waze.

To have great faith is to have a word that is not sullied by doubt. Believe in yourself, it will change your life.

Have you ever just wished you didn't have to be on social media?
I have not posted in a while because I was literally just burned out from the 'grind' of constant posting.
No! This is not a 'how to post on social media if you're burned out' post. This is a post about something else.
It's a post about being a human, actually TYPING out the words of what I want to say or about a burning topic that I think is important for people to hear.
I pulled back from posting for a number of reasons. The main one being that I am tired of HAVING to post. 12-15 stories a day, 2-3 reels, 2 posts a day, go LIVE, tag the Dream 100, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook OH MY!
I forget though that most people have not heard my origin story or how what I've learned could help you!
What I DO know for sure is this. When you have a better understanding of you who you are and what you're about, it's much easier to live a more peaceful and successful life.
Tony Robbins says, "Success without fulfillment is the ultimate faiure." And I agree with him. I also know that fulfillment without success is impossible.
A square is a rectangle, but a rectangle isn't always a square.
Know yourself, love yourself and believe in yourself and you will have both.
What I learned about myself through horses is more powerful than anything I could ever learn at a seminar or workshop or training.

Just in case you need a little levity.
In 2016 while shopping in NYC I came across this art piece at a gallery in soho. I remember immediately being drawn to it... so I bought it and had it shipped to spanx. I hung it on the wall in my personal office and every time someone would come in and look at it I would see them flinch (🤣) and say something like “well, that’s depressing!”. At one point my longtime assistant and confidante Lisa pulled me aside and said, “Sar, your art is freaking everybody out.” 😂 But to me.... it wasn’t depressing at all. I’ve always had an interesting relationship with my own mortality. I use it often to put things in perspective, help manage my nervous, and help me take more risks throughout my life that scare me. It was simply a reminder. sitting at my desk, in back-to-back meetings, frustrated, stressed, making exactly 100000 decisions every hour that always somehow felt like life or death.....i would look up at that quote, and it would put things into perspective. It was a stark reminder not to take life (and work) so seriously. Because it’s true... we’re gonna die. 🤷♀️😂 So if you needed it…here’s your reminder to laugh more, and not take yourself too seriously… and to take that risk. ❤️💪👊
Ps. I eventually took it down and it now hangs in my home office where it freaks my kids out. 😂🤷♀️
