On behalf of For The Children Inc., we want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made our Haitian Heritage Celebration on May 19th an absolutely beautiful evening!

From the opening notes of the National Anthem performed in both English and Haitian Creole to the closing sounds of Kompa, every moment reminded us of the richness of our culture, heritage, and pride. 💛🖤❤️

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month this May, I encourage each of you to share these valuable resources with students, residents, and those within our school communities. Together, we have the power to dismantle the stigma surrounding mental health.

We all need support to maintain and sustain a healthy mental environment. I invite you to be intentional — show kindness, speak words of encouragement and enlightenment, and spread peace, joy, and love to everyone you encounter.

This month, I challenge each of you to prioritize your own mental well-being and commit to sharing positive, uplifting thoughts with those around you. Small, meaningful actions can make a profound difference in someone's life.

PAYMENT OPTIONS ACCEPTED: ELC Voucher, PBC Summer Camp Scholarship, and Private pay.

Youth Empowerment Center (YEC) FREE program
Grades 6–12 are now welcome to apply! Palm Beach County Youth Services Department, United Way of Palm Beach County, and other generous supporters fund this free program.
