🖍️ Back to School classroom lists have been posted in the lobby of both buildings! 🎒

Meet your teacher for Building 2 is Saturday, August 8th from 9am-12pm & the first day of school is Monday, August 10th. We are so excited for a year of fun and learning. 📕 ✏️

Remember .. all students in our two year old program through VPK are required to wear the Planet Kids 🌏 uniform 👕 Monday through Thursday! Uniforms shirts are available to order in the Front Office.

When teachers truly love what they do, that joy is contagious. Watching our staff dance, laugh, and be silly with the children reminds us that the best memories are often made in the simplest moments.

Today our little explorers packed their imaginations and traveled Around the World… one delicious bite at a time! 🌎✈️🍽️

Our students had the opportunity to sample foods from different countries, including:

🥐 Croissants from France
🍌 Plantain chips from Jamaica
🥤 Italian sparkling beverages
🌮 Tacos from Mexico
🍚 Fried rice from China
🥧 Apple pie from the United States

This hands-on cultural experience was an absolute fan favorite! Watching our students step outside their comfort zones, try new flavors, and learn about different cultures through food was such a joy. The smiles were endless, and the conversations continued long after the tasting was over as everyone shared their new favorite foods with friends and teachers!

At Planet Kids, we believe some of the best learning happens through experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and help children discover the amazing world around them. Today was a wonderful reminder that exploring new cultures can be both educational and delicious! ❤️🌍

Who says lunchtime can't be exciting?

😄 Today, one of our amazing teachers had our two year olds smiling from ear to ear as she danced along to the silly "Chicken Banana" song! 💃🐔🍌

What looked like a funny dance was also a wonderful opportunity to talk about healthy food choices and encourage positive eating habits. 🥕🍓🥪

By making learning playful and engaging, children are more excited to try new foods, build healthy routines, and enjoy mealtime together! 🍽️💚

💦☀️ What a SPLASH-tastic Water Play Day! ☀️💦

Today our kiddos had an absolute blast cooling off during Water Play Day! 🌈

💙 There were giggles, smiles, splashes, and so many unforgettable memories made! 🌊🩱🦆
While it may look like "just playing," water play is packed with valuable learning opportunities! It helps children:

💧 Build fine and gross motor skills
🪣 Strengthen hand-eye coordination
🔬 Explore early science concepts like pouring, floating, sinking, and cause & effect
🤝 Practice sharing, taking turns, and working together
🧠 Develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills
💙 Boost language development as they describe what they're doing and experiencing
😊 Encourage creativity, confidence, and sensory exploration
