💕👵👴 A Day Full of Love, Hugs & Precious Memories! 👴👵💕

Today, our school was filled with extra smiles and so much love as we welcomed our amazing grandparents! 🥰📚

For our little ones, there is something truly magical about having Grandma and Grandpa walk through their classroom door. Their smiles light up little faces, their stories create beautiful memories, and their hugs make tiny hearts feel safe and loved. ❤️

Today wasn't just a visit—it was a memory our children will treasure for years to come. ✨

🍎🥧 Discovery IQ: Learning Through Multiple Intelligences! 🥧🍎

At Planet Kids, our Discovery IQ program is inspired by Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, helping children learn through different ways of thinking, creating, exploring, and experiencing.

During our apple pie activity, our little learners explored red, yellow, and green apples, discovering their differences in color, taste, texture, and appearance. 🍏🍎

Through this hands-on experience, children practiced:

🔢 Logical-Mathematical Intelligence – measuring, counting, and following quantities.
🌿 Naturalistic Intelligence – observing and comparing different types of apples.
🗣️ Linguistic Intelligence – learning new words and talking about what they discovered.
🤲 Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence – mixing, pouring, kneading, and creating with their hands.
🤝 Interpersonal Intelligence – working together and sharing the experience with friends.

This is what Discovery IQ is all about—creating meaningful experiences where children can learn, explore, and discover their own unique strengths! ✨❤️

We are so excited to welcome our amazing grandparents for a special time filled with love, stories, cookies, tea, and precious memories with their little ones! 👵🏼👴🏼💕

Grandparents will be invited to spend some special time in their child’s classroom, enjoy a story together, and celebrate the beautiful bond between generations. 📚🍪☕💕

🛝☀️ Playground Time = Learning Time! 💕🌈

Our little learners had so much fun enjoying playground time and exploring different activities! From climbing and running to jumping, balancing, and sliding, every movement is helping them grow stronger and more confident. 💪✨

Playground play is an important part of gross motor development because it helps children build strength, balance, coordination, body control, and spatial awareness—all while having FUN! 🏃‍♀️🧗‍♂️💛

Every climb, jump, and run is a little step toward growing, learning, and becoming more independent! 🌟

🐸🌟 Meeting Time: Where Our Learning Begins! 🌟🐸

Every day from 9:00–9:30 AM, our preschoolers come together for Meeting Time—a special part of our daily routine where we learn, connect, and get ready for an exciting day of discovery! 💚

Using our Frog Street Curriculum, Meeting Time gives children the opportunity to explore the weekly theme, new vocabulary, songs, stories, and important concepts through fun and engaging activities.

📚 We also work on language and literacy, social-emotional skills, science, movement, and classroom routines, all connected to the goals and activities planned for the week.

Meeting Time is more than just sitting together—it’s a time to listen, participate, think, communicate, and learn from one another. 🧠💬❤️

After an evening filled with professional development, we had to let our teachers PLAY, too! 🎈✨ 🐟

Our team took on the Balloon Challenge for the chance to win a special prize 💰 and the competition was so much fun!

🤩 Congratulations to Ms. Marianna, the only teacher to successfully complete the challenge and take home the win! 🏆🎉

When our teachers feel happy, supported, appreciated, and highly engaged, they create even more magic for the kiddos in our care. 💙 🌍
